Decimal

Uncirculated and proof decimal coins are produced most years by the Royal Australian Mint. Commemorative individual issues and yearly sets with regular designs are also released in various alloy for collectors.

Most of the one, two, five, ten, twenty, fifty cent, one and two dollar values of coins not intended for circulation are in the price guide.

RAM sets

Most years since 1966, the Royal Australian Mint has released a proof set containing proof examples of Australia's circulating coinage. Proof coins have a different and more refined manufacturing process than circulation coins. The dies are polished to give a cameo-like/mirror-like or matte finish.

Some unique designs are only available through these sets or special releases and can be found here.
