On April 14, 2016, at the CICF World Coins & Ancient Coins Signature Auction in Chicago, Heritage Auctions sold a 1930 penny (Indian Obverse), certified AU-50 by PCGS (finest-known) sold for AUD$86,000.
In May 2008, an uncertified VF/XF specimen, from the Dr. Patrick Tan Collection, sold for over AUD$42,250 at auction.
