Producers' Bank - Banknotes
The Producers' Bank was established in Sydney in 1851. Little is known of the bank's history. It is believed to have survived for about ten years, failing in 1861-62. The designs on the bank's notes feature illustrations of Sydney Cove and rural scenes of the NSW colony.
